SSRD Fall 2009 Quarterly UpdateThe business climate for biofuels is changing rapidly, locally in Los Angeles, as well as throughout California and the world over. New capacity is continually being added, and California regulations intended to protect consumers from underground storage tank leaks have the side effect of making biodiesel much more costly to store than petrodiesel, at least in the near term. SSRD has felt it important to observe the changes occuring throughout 2009. We have undertaken a feasibility study to help ensure the success of our own planned biodiesel facility.
